NYAMI BERRIE BRITS RECRUITMENT MEETING WITH NORTH WEST OFFICIALS GOITSEONE MOTLATLHALA CDE DGS SIMON MABUNELE ,THAT WENT SUCCESSEFULLY AND THE COMPANY HAS EMPLOYED 157 WORKERS PERMANENT.
Purpose of the meeting is to plan for organizing workers in the wine sector and promote Collecting Bargaining and ensuring human rights for all the workers in the Sector which will include farm workers supplying farms to the wine producers in the Western Cape.
AFADWU amongst other unions will be a beneficiary of the project, in conducting training and workshops on the following:
a) Freedom of Association and collective
b) Women Empowerment on Collective Bargaining (Women only workshop)
The induction training of all provincies which started from Wersten Cape province of all Provincial Office Beares (POB) of AFADWU, which took place on the 5th of March 2022 at Western Cape Provincial Office. This training is a national program that will provide Provincial Office Bearers and Officials with the training. From above comrades attended it from the left (Provincial Treasure Titus Allister, Provincial Chirperson Mazula Nomfezeko and the Provincial Secretary Michael Helu.

AFADWU has successfully recruited about 600 members in Mpumalanga Daybreak Farms. The Daybreak Farms’ members are generally from a range of other trade unions across the country.
