THE 2021 NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL (NEC)

The National executive council (NEC) which was held at Birchwood hotel by Agricultural Food and Allied Democratic Workers Union (AFADWU) from the 9th and 10th of April 2021.

This was the first NEC since its first inaugural National Congress has elected its new leadership due to covid19 restrictions the meeting could not sit.

The main focus of the NEC was to deal with union policies and to access the progress National Congress resolution and:

·         Setting up of provincial structure

As all organizations need to have their own policy, so after the (NEC) there will be a new policy that will work or will need to be followed after the national executive council (NEC).

The focus also looks at procedures that need to be followed if you need to add stuff of new members on which way to go or to be followed as its part of the organization.

The inclusion of the financial situation of the organization was also part of the meeting.

As national office barriers and national officials were in built of a progressive leadership structure and positive implementation of the organization in the NEC.
